10) ONLINE MARKETING
10.1 DoubleClick by Google
This website uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google, operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("DoubleClick"). DoubleClick uses cookies to display ads that are relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Google uses a cookie ID to track which ads are displayed in which browser and can prevent them from being displayed more than once. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in the optimal marketing of our website in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
In addition, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to track so-called conversions related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later visits the advertiser's website with the same browser and makes a purchase there. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain personal data.
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to Google's server. We have no influence over the extent and further use of the data that Google collects through the use of this tool. Therefore, we inform you according to our level of knowledge: By integrating DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have visited the relevant part of our website or clicked on one of our advertisements. If you are registered with a Google service, Google may associate your visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or not logged in, it is still possible that the provider may obtain and store your IP address.
If you wish to object to participation in this tracking process, you can disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com, which can be done via the link: https://www.google.de/settings/ads. This setting will be deleted when you clear your cookies. You can also obtain information on setting cookies and making the necessary settings in this regard from the Digital Advertising Alliance at www.aboutads.info. By analyzing the data from our advertising campaigns, we can determine the success of individual advertising measures. In this way, we pursue the goal of showing you advertising that is of interest to you, making our website more interesting for you, and achieving a fair calculation of advertising costs.
The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on a Google AdWords ad. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer system. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify you. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Therefore, cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted in to conversion tracking.
The customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking, you can block this use by disabling the Google conversion tracking cookie via your internet browser under user settings. Google (Universal) Analytics
- Google Universal Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies" (text files placed on your computer) to help the website analyze and allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) is generally transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. This website uses Google Analytics exclusively with the "_anonymizeIp()" extension, which ensures that IP addresses are anonymized by truncation, thereby preventing direct personal references. This extension means that your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. In these exceptional cases, this processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes.
As part of our agreement, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. As an alternative to the browser plug-in or within browsers on mobile devices, you can click on the following link to set an opt-out cookie that will prevent the collection of data by Google Analytics within this website in the future (this opt-out cookie works only in this browser and only for this domain. If you delete your cookies in this browser, you will need to click this link again): Disable Google Analytics
Google LLC, headquartered in the United States, is certified under the US-European data protection convention "Privacy Shield," which ensures compliance with the EU data protection level.
This website also uses Google Analytics for a cross-device analysis of visitor flows, which is carried out via a user ID. When a page is first accessed, the user is assigned a unique, permanent, and anonymous ID that can be used across devices. This allows interaction data from different devices and sessions to be attributed to a single user. The user ID does not contain any personal data and does not transmit any personal data to Google. You can object to the collection and storage of data via the user ID at any time with effect for the future. To do this, you need to deactivate Google Analytics on all systems you use, such as a different browser or mobile device.
You can do this by using a Google browser plug-in: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

You can allow Facebook and its partners to display ads on and off Facebook. A cookie may be stored on your computer for these purposes.
